USA

• 5 seasons with the Golden State Warriors of the NBA as Strategic Marketing Manager
• Launched the first internet café the NBA had in any arena
• Worked with celebrities like Mark Curry, LL Cool J, Mark Cuban, Leyton Hewitt and Barry Bonds for celebrity online chats at the internet café during halftime
• Hosted NBA injured players like Allen Iverson, Reggie Miller and Shaq at the internet café for autograph sessions at the café during halftime
• Headed the marketing campaign with local Chinese media when Yao Ming played his debut game vs. Team USA at World Game, Oakland Arena
• Launched Warriors first Ethnic Marketing efforts when Yao Ming was drafted into the NBA

Singapore

• Developed the first marketing team for California Fitness Singapore
• Managed the grand opening of the second club in Republic Plaza, Raffles Place
• Initiated first of a series of cross promotions with Sony and Reebok valued at over $100,000 monthly

English Instructor, Wall Street Institute Singapore

Lee Kern Tzen, is a certified trainer with two organizations: Save the Children Singapore (Trybe) and OTi Consulting Singapore. Accredited with the DiSC psychometric tool, Kern has consulted for companies such as Singapore Mass Rapid Transport (SMRT), Sentosa Group, Applied Materials, Pamelia Lee Pte. Ltd and Aardwolf Pest Care. As a lead trainer with Trybe, he has conducted programs for over 90 educational institutions in Singapore. Kern is a lead facilitator for programs known as "You can do it!", "Dare to Dream!", Time Management, Stress Management and Service Leadership. Trybe partnered with The Health Promotion Board and Kern became a lead trainer for Stress Management seminars conducting them to Junior Colleges, Polytechnics and ITE's. Partnering with Ministry of Community, Youth and Sports, Kern became a lead trainer for Service leadership as well. Kern graduated with Cum Laude and Honors from Dominican University of California in International Business Management and Communications. He is also a graduate of Cambridge's Certification of English Language Teaching for Adults (CELTA). During his university years, Kern focused on Business Communications and Finance. In University he served as a radio DJ and Producer for Dominican's online radio program. Through serving at the Dominican's Internet Radio station for two years as a DJ, he gained a valuable experience in radio broadcasting. Conceptualized as a talk show to highlight issues faced by youths of today, "Face 2 Face" is his self produced, hosted, and scripted show. "Face 2 Face" was broadcasted to students in Korea, India, Afghanistan, Brazil, Australia, United States and Singapore. My maximum viewing reached 10,000 viewers world wide. Kern has a passion for communicating in front of groups of people. He has a passion for helping the youths, families and companies learn how to communicate better.
